Many companies sponsor a matching gifts program, which will match financial contributions made to charities by their employees. Employees can double and sometimes triple their gift by simply filling out a form available through their Human Resource department and mailing it to the charity with their donation. Some companies also match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses.
