Part-Time Patient Navigator Job Opening for Hays County

The Breast Cancer Resource Centers of Texas is expanding into Hays County. The successful candidate will live in San Marcos/Hays County, have some college education, be a breast cancer survivor and be fluent in English and Spanish. The Breast Cancer Resource Center will provide training in Patient Navigation. This position will be responsible for navigating the newly diagnosed person from pre-diagnosis through treatment and beyond. They will maintain the community office, develop relationships with key partners and volunteers, identify fundraising opportunities and be comfortable speaking in public. Mission: The BCRC is a centralized source of information, education and support that empowers those affected by breast cancer to navigate through diagnosis, treatment, recovery and beyond as active, knowledgeable participants in their healthcare.
