Georgetown Cancer Center to start seeing patients August 1
Written by Runi Limary Posted on June 26th, 2009 | Email This PostStarting this summer, the new Georgetown Cancer Center will open its doors, providing cancer care to Georgetown and other surrounding areas.
The center hopes to serve patients that would typically travel outside of Georgetown to academic cancer centers, such as the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, to receive treatments.
Georgetown Cancer Center, located adjacent to St. David’s Georgetown Hospital, is staffed by board-certified cancer physicians.
The center will begin taking appointments July 15, and will start seeing patients Aug. 1.
