Furry, 4-legged friends help patients through therapy

Michele Sperry and her wire haired Fox Terrier, Olive, have been together for six and a half years. Sperry found her pooch at a rescue group.

 ”I just knew this was the dog for me,” she said. “She keeps an eye on me, [and] I keep an eye on her.”

Shortly after she got her, Olive started waking Sperry up by standing on her chest, and it was Olive’s paw that potentially saved Michele’s life.
