Executive Director Job Opening

It is coming upon two years that I have been the Executive Director of the Breast Cancer Resource Centers of Texas and it has been a privilege to lead this great organization and to work with such a powerful, committed staff of women. BCRC has had a couple of very busy and successful years. It is ready for a new leader as it expands, grows and continues to do the wonderful work that it has done in Central Texas for 15 years.

I am so wanting to do those many things that I never seem to find the time to do – executive coaching, consulting, writing, gardening, traveling with Alan while we can still easily climb in and out of our tent, etc!

Please read this job posting and share it with your networks. I know the next right leader for this wonderful organization is out there! BCRC will be accepting resumes until Feb. 19th. The Board of Directors, Staff and I hope to have a new ED in place by the end of April.

I really hate to see you leave!!!!!!!!!!!You have made your mark in life and now it is time to do something for yourself. I just started to get to know you and now you’ll be gone…but that’s a good thing 4 u…….Life is short and you don’t want to ever have regrets! I hope you still come to the events.

Vivian, I can’t tell you how much your leadership and support have meant to me. I am pretty sure the next ED will try to do the same, but there is only one “Vivian”!
