Acupuncture helps Austin-area breast cancer survivor

Most standard breast cancer treatments have harmful side effects, but many patients taking them are combining them with other non-traditional therapies to improve their odds.

One local survivor, who was diagnosed with breast cancer for a second time recently, is combining her chemotherapy with acupuncture.
