Bringing knowledge, experience and support to the women of Central Texas
Written by Runi Limary Posted on March 10th, 2009 | Email This PostBreast Cancer Resource Centers of Texas (BCRC) is a non-profit, grassroots organization created by breast cancer survivors. It is a centralized source for breast cancer information, education and support.
The BCRC and its six Certified Patient Navigators serve women with breast cancer, their families, spouses, partners and friends; women who have questions about screening and biopsy; and others who are concerned about breast cancer issues. Our goal is to help the newly diagnosed woman and her support system create an effective, positive and practical team approach to this diagnosis.
With locations in Austin, Round Rock, San Marcos and Georgetown staffed by six Certified Patient Navigators, the BCRC enables women to become active, knowledgeable participants in their healthcare.
