About Veda

Veda discovered her lump through a visual self breast exam. She had an early mammogram and fine needle biopsy. She was diagnosed June of 1996 with invasive ductal carcinoma. She had a modified radical mastectomy with a latissimus flap reconstruction and had physical therapy to regain range of motion. She had six months of Cytoxan/Methotraxate/5FU chemotherapy. About four to six weeks after the completion of chemotherapy treatments she was playing tennis with friends.
