Q. How do clients find you?

A. Clients can find us by emailing us at mail@bcrc.org or calling our main number at (512) 544-0900.

Q. Which counties do you serve?

A. We serve the following counties: Bastrop, Blanco, Burnet, Caldwell, Fayette, Hays, Lee, Llano, Travis and Williamson.

Q. How do I check a book out from your library?

A. You can come by our lending library at Park St. David’s and check out a book by contacting (512) 544-0900.

Q. What are your biggest volunteer needs?

A. Our biggest volunteer needs are for repeat visits to the oncology practices and to assist with health fairs.

Q. How do you ensure privacy?

A. All of our employees are given HIPAA training when they are hired. All client conversations and data are confidential and stored in a secure place.

Q. Do you assist with wigs? Prosthesis?

A. We assist medically underserved with free wigs and prosthesis. Please contact Jessica at (512) 324-7992.

Q. Who should I contact if I’m looking for a support group? Peer support? Or if I have general questions?

A. Besides our Website, you can contact our main number (512) 544-0900 to get matched up with a support group and for us to answer your questions.

Q. When is the best time to call?

A. Feel free to call anytime and leave a voicemail. Staff will try to return your call within 24 hours. The best time to reach staff is during office hours, which are 10–4pm, but this varies by location.

Q. How quickly should I expect to hear from someone if I email or leave a message?

A. Staff typically tries to return messages within 24 hours.

Q. How is your staff trained on the latest research/treatment/surgeries?

A. Staff members attend training and conferences throughout the year and are nationally certified as patient navigators.
